第1回S蔵塾開催。内容はたぶん本当に基礎的な話。でも基礎ってことはそれは本当に重要な話ってことだ。しかも僕はこれまで誰かにデザインについて教えてもらったこともないし、当然師匠もいない。数冊の本と周りのデザイナーとの会話、デザイナー達同士の会話、そして実際に仕事を通して見る、触れるPSDから僕なりに盗んだりして自分の中で組み立てていった自分なりの考え方というものしかない。

結果的にレクチャーの内容は僕の考えてきたことがあまり間違ってないことを教えてくれた。やはり自分ひとりで思っていても全然自信がないけど、S蔵さんの口から言われると改めて「間違ってなかったんだ」と少しほっとする。しかしもちろん僕が考えている以上のことが話の端々にちりばめられているわけで、それらを聞き逃すまいとする。そのあとの質疑応答も、部屋の狭さもあいまってかなかなか活発。つうかbAに入ってほんとよかったと思った。僕も質問してみたりしたけど、今回の企画の目的である「視覚的なデザインスキルの向上」という観点からみると少しはみ出してしまったかもしれない。次回からは僕もそれに徹して余計な質問は控えようと思った。なんにしても勉強になった。あんなに真剣に人のレクチャーを聞いたのは本当に久しぶりだ。次回からも楽しみ。
